ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course is a safety program designed for construction industry workers, especially those with safety supervisory responsibilities. Course topics fulfill OSHA 30-Hour training requirements; as well as customized electives for ICI members. After successfully completing the course, participants will receive an OSHA Construction Safety and Health 30-Hour construction course completion card from the U.S. Department of Labor.
ICI Director of Safety & Training Jim Wood, ASP, CHST will conduct the course. ICI will provide all course materials. Each participant should bring notetaking materials (pen & paper, tablet or laptop).
ABOUT THE SCHEDULE
We’ve split this course into four days over two weeks:
- Tuesday, March 4
- Wednesday March 5
- Tuesday, March 11
- Wednesday, March 12
The daily schedule:
- 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon – Education session
- 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. – Lunch
- 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. – Education session
LOGISITICS
- LOCATION – This course is an in-person event at the ICI office in downtown Indianapolis.
- LUNCH – ICI will provide boxed lunches. Please list any dietary restrictions in the registration form.
- OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS – Here's a list of downtown Indianapolis hotel options. Overnight accommodations are not included in your registration fee.
REGISTRATION
The fee for this course is $150 for ICI member company employees and includes OSHA 1926 standards manual, OSHA 30 card and lunch for the 4 days. Member company employees can choose to pay by credit card or "Bill Me Later" invoice. The non-member registration fee for this course is $275. Non-members must pay by credit card.
ICI member company employees will need to click on the yellow LOGIN button at the top right corner of the registration page to register and receive the discounted member rate. The registration deadline for this course is Friday, Feb. 28.
CANCELLATION
OSHA stipulates a minimum class enrollment of three participants. In the unlikely event that we don’t meet the minimum enrollment by the Friday, Feb. 28 registration deadline, we'll issue refunds and plan to reschedule at a later date.
